This engraving is gray to light gray in color instead of black and allows for a coin-like feel to the details of the engraving. Please note that the details are very small and subtle, the photos provided are very zoomed in. EMBOSS/DEBOSS ENGRAVING ("deep" engraving)
This is a type of engraving that has a slight depth to it (less than .1mm deep). The feel of the engraving feels very similar to the details of a coin. The details are as small as .01mm and no ink or paint is used.
